Terms and conditions
Last updated October 10, 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Kompose at kompose.email ("Kompose", "we", "us"). Kompose is run by Saivinith Madishetty, India. By browsing the site, or by paying for a mail, you agree to these terms.
1. What Kompose is
Kompose is a public, inbox-style board of paid promotions ("mails"). Every mail is placed and paid for by a third party (a "promoter") and is ranked by the total amount paid for it. We don't sell, endorse or guarantee any product, service or offer shown on the board.
2. For visitors
- No account is needed. Every mail is a paid promotion and is marked as sponsored.
- Links take you to third-party websites with their own terms. Check prices, availability and conditions there before buying.
- We're not a party to anything you buy from a promoter.
- Please report anything misleading or harmful using the flag on the mail.
3. For promoters
3.1 What you're paying for
You pay to list a mail on the public board. Your mail stays listed until it's removed under these terms or the service closes. You aren't buying a fixed rank, a fixed position on the page, or any number of views, opens, visits or sales.
3.2 How rank works
- Rank is the total paid for a mail. The highest total is #1. If two mails have the same total, the one that reached it first ranks higher.
- Taking #1 costs at least $5 more than the current #1. Any other rank costs at least $1 more than the mail holding it. Paying less still lists you, at whatever rank your amount reaches.
- Paying more never removes anyone. When a mail moves up, every mail it passes moves down one place.
- Amounts are in whole US dollars. A new mail starts from $10 (Messages from $1). Each label's starting amount is shown before you pay.
- Amounts paid are public. Every visitor can see each mail's total, and the Today and Daily boards show what was paid on each UTC day.
3.3 Payment and Order IDs
- Payments are processed by our payment partner and Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, in US dollars. If your card or bank uses another currency, they set the conversion. Applicable taxes are handled at checkout.
- Starting a checkout doesn't reserve a rank. Your rank is set when the payment is confirmed, at whatever position your amount then reaches. If someone pays more while you're paying, you still land on the board, possibly at a lower rank than you aimed for.
- Each successful payment gets an Order ID linked to the payment provider's transaction ID. Failed or cancelled payments don't.
3.4 Moving up
Anyone may add to a mail's total, including by entering the same link again. Adding only ever moves that mail up; it doesn't change its content or who controls its receipt. You pay only the difference between the old and the new total.
3.5 The Spotlight
- The Spotlight is one large card shown above the board. It's always open; there's no auction day or end date.
- It starts at $99. To take it, you pay at least $5 more than the current holder's price. While nobody takes it, that price drops by 10% for each full day, never below $99.
- You keep the Spotlight until someone else takes it. There's no minimum time and no refund when that happens.
- The Spotlight is for a mail that's already on the board. Its price is separate and doesn't add to that mail's rank.
- If the Spotlight is taken at a higher price before your payment is confirmed, your payment can't be used and is refunded in full automatically.
- Past holders are listed publicly on the Spotlight page with their amount and how long they held it.
3.6 Featured
Featured adds a gold star and a highlighted row to a mail for a one-time $20. It doesn't change rank and lasts for as long as the mail is listed.
3.7 Your receipt link
After paying you get a private receipt link. Anyone with that link can see your mail's stats and pay to move it up or put it in the Spotlight. Keep it safe. There are no accounts, so we can't recover a lost link, but we can help with your Order ID.
3.8 Your content
- You confirm you have the right to use every name, image, trademark and claim in your mail, that your offer is real and accurately described, and that your website shows who you are and how to contact you.
- You give us permission to display, resize and link to your content on Kompose and in posts about the board while it's listed.
- You can't edit a mail yourself after paying. If something needs fixing, email us with your Order ID.
4. Not allowed
- Scams, phishing, malware, or links that hide where they lead (including link shorteners)
- Chat and invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and similar)
- Adult content, gambling, weapons, drugs, or anything illegal where you or your audience are
- Get-rich-quick schemes, crypto giveaways, or guaranteed-return investments
- Fake reviews, counterfeit goods, or impersonating another brand or person
- Hateful, harassing or misleading content
- Using another company's trademarks in a way that suggests they endorse you when they don't
5. Moderation and removal
We may refuse, hide or remove any mail at our discretion, including mails reported by visitors. Mails reported by 3 or more visitors are hidden automatically until we review them. A mail removed for breaking these terms isn't refunded. We may also limit how many mails one website can have on the board (currently 3).
6. Refunds
Payments are final. Being outranked, Today's board resetting at midnight UTC, losing the Spotlight to a higher payment, or fewer visits than you hoped for aren't grounds for a refund. Payments we can't use are refunded automatically. Full details are in the refund policy.
7. Liability
Kompose is provided "as is". We try to keep it running, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from third-party mails or websites, and our total liability to a promoter is limited to the amount they paid for the affected mail.
8. Trademarks
Kompose is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC, and the inbox layout is our own design. Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC. Brand names and logos inside mails belong to their owners and are shown by the promoters who paid for those mails.
9. Changes, closing and contact
We may update these terms or the prices for future payments; the date above shows the latest version. If we ever close Kompose, we'll announce it on the site at least 30 days before. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: support@kompose.email. See also the privacy policy and refund policy.
